Hey Jude, Don't Make It Bad

I love the Beatles!

I was finally about to try out "Hey Jude" by Enchanted Polish, which is another awesome green polish! This polish has been described as a multichromatic and holographic finish, AND it's gorgeous!! It was extremely hard to photograph, but you can kind of see the purple shimmer. This is 3 thin coats, topped off with "Storm" by Zoya for the chevrons.

That's what my coworker said my nails looked like today. lol

Today I decided to try "Tristam" by A-England. I thought it was more of a blue shimmer, but turned out to be more blurple. This was 3 thin coats and I stamped with "No Place Like Chrome" by Essie. I was going for a more "antique" look but then... they did turn into wallpaper! :-P

Time To Pretend

It's nice out today, and it's supposed to snow tomorrow... Go home, Colorado! You're wasted!!

Anywho, nails for the day: "Time To Pretend" by Enchanted Polish. Now anyone that knows me, knows that I only love green... Purple, meh, not so much... But when I finished with these, it was like BAM!!! This color popped me in the face so hard I almost died! I decided to use my mermaid stamp, because I'm pretending that I will wake up tomorrow and it be summer out!

Cool, Calm and Collected

I was in the mood for a little animal print tonight. Decided to use "Cool, Calm and Collected" by Emily de Molly. This is my first ever EdM that I have tried, and now I'm obsessed! This is three thin coats stamped with a tiger print. One of my coworkers said it's like looking into the ocean! lol

Today I have "Margaritaville" by Liquid Sky Lacquer which is an awesome green thermal. And if you know me well, you know I am absolutely IN LOVE with green!!!

The picture is shown mid-transition with 3 thin coats. I also used "Licorice" by Essie for the stamping. The stamp itself is from the Suki Collection by MoYou London.

Kids!

I always get excited when I hear this song on the radio by MGMT. Now to have it on my nails is even more AWESOME!!! I think it's safe to say that this is by far, my FAVORITE polish ever!! "Kids" by Enchanted Polish - a prismatic polish that shifts from teal to purple, and it's GORGEOUS! I used my rainbow stamp to try to highlight the holo effect in the color.

And those kicks were really, really as fast as lightning!

I was watching Mulan tonight (yes I'm in my late 20's.. almost 30's and I still watch Disney) and was inspired to use "Just Lucky" by Liquid Sky Lacquer. This thermal is reddish/orange color when cold, and a brilliant gold color when warm.

Zoya - Zuza

First off, I'm an idiot...

I was going through my google album and decided to delete all the random crap in it. Meanwhile, back in Blogger land... I was deleting all the pictures for my posts!! FAIL!!!

Spent about a good 30 minutes here at work trying to fix it... LOL

Back to my nails...

Colors used:

Zoya - Storm (black w/ micro holo glitter) and Zuza (green w/ metallic shimmer)

A lot of you might not know, but I am absolutely in love with GREEN! :) For months I had this in my helmer and didn't know it was there. I almost bought it on the Zoya Get Any 3 Free sale (whoops!).

This is 3 thin coats of each color, and they all went on flawlessly. Lighting is a little better in this one but, again, I was in a hurry. I plan on signing up for one of those classes on how to use digital cameras (I still haven't been able to fix my white balance issue).

Bliss Polish - Coral Crush

This weekend I received my order from Bliss Polish! I ordered several different ones but have only tried this one so far.

Colors used:

Bliss Polish - Coral Crush and Essie - Licorice

I also used a zebra decal that I bought from Nailvinyls

The lighting sucks but I was in a hurry. Plus I'm also trying to figure out how to use my camera (so far all I've been able to do is mess up the white balance and turn it blue).

Once I get my lightbox set up I will redo this and take better pictures.

Zoya - Liberty

Today my nails are inspired by @msbeautybee :)

After seeing her design on Instagram I decided to give it a shot! 

These are the colors I used starting from left to right:

Essie - Licorice, Ignite The Night, No Place Like Chrome and Zoya - Liberty (Pixie Dust) along with the leopard stamp (Mash-40)

I really love the simplicity but I wish I would have added more blue to this. Oh well.

After everything dried, I topped it off with HK Girl Topcoat by Glisten And Glow. This topcoat is amazing! Not only does it dry super fast, but I don't have any problems with shrinkage! :) You can purchase her products here: http://glistenandglow.bigcartel.com/

New Year, New Me

Happy 2014 everyone!!

I know I'm probably just another nail blogger that wont get many followers but whatever. I'm gonna do it anyway! This is where I will be posting pictures of swatches and nail art throughout the year.

I started doing nail art in April of 2013. This was my first attempt at nail art and I thought I was the shit! lol

Man was I wrong! >.<

So stay tuned as I continue my journey into the nail art world! :)
